it's been awhile...
the wisdom teeth came out last week... lots of meds, pain and blood, and about a week and a half later my gums are still quite bothersome, and i have quite the permanent hospital taste in my mouth.
i have had a crazy couple of days, a whirlwind of things happening that i had not planned to have nor expected, well i suppose all of inevitable, but still totally surreal and its definitely only the begining. I was supposed to move back to chicago monday and it is now friday and i still have no idea when.
I bought a dresser today, a bunch of bedding yesterday, and i might be getting a bed before i go back as well. i was at "the farmhouse" (falls into such boven family namingisms as "the raney house," "taft," etc.) and helping out for the first time since they bought it. I finished demolishing a closet that had been plastered, and found some 1920's business cards which was cool. My aunt Denise was there for awhile in addition to the mom, corey and christine usual crew. Which was super nice since i rarely if ever see her anymore. Turns out there is a toatlly groovy desk in the barn which is just perfect (not to mention what i have been looking for ALL summer but my parents failed to mention to me existed) for me to redo, which is something that would be kind of good to do before going to chicago, as redoing furniture sounds like a complicated thing to do in a chicago apartment. Who knows.
i happened to come across this when looking something up online tonight for christine, and it turned out to be one of the no-doubt more humorous things i have found online as of late... and its not even supposed to be...greatness
i hadnt intended on having much to say, and i didn't, which makes me curious as to what exactly this rather long entry consists of. all i know is i should have worn a mask the whole time i was demolishing instead of only partially, as i am going to have black lung and snot disease for life now i feel. or at least a few days.
